I’m very excited to announce that I will be attending the 25th annual Chicago House Spring Brunch & Fashion Show this Sunday, May 6th! This is my first year attending the show, and I couldn’t be more thrilled that my two favorite hobbies are at the core of this event, fashion and eating. With fashions provided by Mark Shale and food provided by Jewell Events Catering, guests will have the pleasure of viewing some of the best spring fashion around. Not to mention, the silent auction under the stunning skylights of the Winter Garden Ballroom atop the Harold Washington Library. It’s really a win-win on every level, and I can’t wait to twerk it out!

THE ACADEMY AWARDS 2012: FASHION REVIEW.
Here are my best and worst dressed choices from last night's 84th Academy Awards. I have to say, there were not too many looks from the red carpet that I was totally disgusted by, so I have a few more best dressed features! #SuchASofty
BEST:
Emma Stone in Giambattista Valli and Louis Vuitton jewelry. She can do no wrong in my book, and after her hysterical banter on stage, I'm actually in love with her. But really, marry me?
Jennifer Lopez in Zuhair Murad. That dress, her body. BOOM. JLo stunned in this plunging, cut-out number, and I would expect nothing less from this red carpet regular. #ElloPapi
Gwyneth Paltrow in Tom Ford. Now this look might not be everyone's favorite, but this is my taste to a T! Sleek, sexy, and dramatic, Gwyneth looked very regal at last night's award show. #ButWhatMovieWasSheIn?
Jessica Chastain in Alexander McQueen. She made McQueen look effortless! I love her casual red curls with this ultra elegant gown. And she knew to keep the jewelry simple! #McGingerQueen <- Too much?
Cameron Diaz in Gucci.I don't normally love nudes on the red carpet, but Cameron made it work! Her feathered hair and the subtly-bold texture of that dress complement perfectly. #NudeWerks
WORST:
Michelle Williams in Louis Vuitton. For an actress that portrayed one of the most iconic movie starlets on all time, Ms. Williams needs to work on her fashion refinement. I love me some LV, but those accessories have got to go! Not to mention that hair is all wrong with that dress. #MyWeekWithoutTaste
Nancy O'Dell in Chagoury Couture.Questionable all around… too bright, too bold, who are you? #Wut

WHAT TO WEAR: NYFW FALL 2012.
So if you haven’t noticed, I’m not in New York right now. I’m not attending shows, hanging out in Lincoln Square, or photographing models. #JustALittleBitter But fear not, I’ve VOWED to attend this Fall for the Spring shows regardless of work or illness. I’m currently drooling over all the new collections, and even more so, over all the attendee’s clothes. The best part about NYFW is seeing the past season’s looks and trends worked into “normal” people’s wardrobes. So, out of complete envy, I wanted to share what I would be rockin’ if I were sitting front row with Anna (or standing in press, or waiting outside hoping to get mistaken as a lost child). This spring I’m really excited about color, ombre, updated classics, and Proenza Schouler. #Duh Let me also mention that I would not wear all this together, these would be examples of some of my statement pieces. #FashionOverload
