But Divas don't eat french fries...
The gays favorite rapper from the east side, Cazwell, has got a new video out on youtube.
My favorite part is when he raps, "She was what?" The background replies, "She was eating," and he goes, "Oh."

Can't Get Melissa Etheridge Tix? What Now?
Well, there's other lesbian-based stuff to do the night of Friday, August 8, 2008.
For instance, the Queer Queens of Qomedy are performing at the Lakeshore Theater.
You can read all about it here.

My Props Please!
Earlier today, I received notice regarding the release of Joel Evan's second CD, Embracing the Light...And then Some.
Corny title and improper use of the elypsis withstanding, the press release was interesting to me; Specifically, the paragraph noting the published praise of Evan's work, when he was professionally known as Jet Kanashi, caught my attention--Evan's first album, Enjoy the Sadness, was featured in PINK Magazine, on gaysonoma.com and on ChicagoPride.com.
And here's the thing: I WROTE the favorable review in PINK and the doting interview on ChicagoPride.com. So basically, two-thirds of the album's promotional success (or failure) can be--should be--atrributed to me and where's my recognition? To date, I haven't gotten an ounce of proper props.
How about some lovely flowers, a nice card or maybe just a thank you? How about Evan's muscle-y manhood pressed against mine as a show of gratuitous gratitude? That's the least he could do, I'm just saying...
Joel Evan will be performing songs from his latest album in the Chicago vicinity August 22 and 23, 2008. More information can be found on his Web site at www.joelevanmusic.com

Mazal Tov
This just in: The PR agency representing models Shaun McCarron and Paul Anderson is announcing the gay couple's nuptials. Project Publicity of New York says the two, known for their roles in the Oxygen Network reality series, "The Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency," will be traveling to Bora Bora in November to tie the pink knot.
The picture posted above comes from the gay good-lookers official wedding announcement--their engagement photo is shirtless, of course, and the blonde one appears to be packing.
Here's wishing them a lifetime of health and happiness, and may they one day adopt fat babies.

Sir Beats A Lot
I wanted to try something different with the Q&A section of ChicagoPride; I wanted to create an arts and entertainment feature where an individual was briefly introduced before having that individual answer a short series of random questions about nothing really at all. Using Boystown's Turntable Technician of Techo, DJ Phil DaBeatz, as the feature's first subject, my new Q&A concept, titled "Pop Quiz," intended to be fun and informative as well as engage. Something all readers could relate to and enjoy, and I'm not sure if I actually accomplished that.
Though the story itself is brilliantly written (of course), I can't tell if the Pop Quiz part comes off as smoothly as I had hoped.
Eh, whatever.
You can read it here and judge for yourself.
And I also think DJ Phil DaBeatz should change his name to Phil The Beats--I just do.

Shall we go for a round two, Jason? I am really humbled by the feature and think it turned out very nicely... keeping in mind, of course, the second part of the answer to the me being single question - "I havent found the right guy yet". Perhaps we shall do ten questions next time? I had a blast with the interview and hope that you did as well. Perhaps it wasnt actually the interviewer, but the interviewee that failed the answering section of the pop quiz... food for thought.
