At the age of 15, West Virginia resident Michael Schnyer met Wisconsinite Dean Juenke online. As their relationship grew more intense Michael decided to come out to his parents and reveal that he was having a romantic affair with a much older man whom he never actually met in in person.
Michael's parents in an attempt to stop the relationship got the FBI involved. The authorities found explicit photos and videos of Michael that he himself had sent on Dean's computer.
Dean was arrested and charged with criminal possession of material involving sexual exploitation of minors.
Although, the couple later married legally in the state of Massachusetts when Michael came of age and Michael's family's accepted their relationship, Dean plead guilty and is now serving 2 and a half years in Federal Prison.
Michael's story comes to us from a his video blog which he started several years ago with hopes of drawing public support to getting an pardon for his husband.
What are your thoughts on Michael's story? What advice would you give him?

What's Hot When It's Cold
CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD THE SHOW | SUBSCRIBE ON iTUNES"| SUBSCRIBE ON iTUNES
Just because it's snowing outside doesn't mean you should be staying in!
On today's show we've got Kevin Thomas, your gay concierge and friend to all bears (and their admirers) to talk about what's hot on Broadway and in Chicago theater.
A sizzling production of Miss Saigon is now playing at the Drury Lane Theater in the Chicago suburb of Oak Brook until March 8th. Check out Kevin's blog entry for a full account of the fabulous show and more Broadway business.
Listen as we talk about Miss Saigon and how you can become a understudy for the coveted role of the Vietnamese bar girl with the heart of gold. If you've ever seen Showgirls, you know what we are talking about.
Also, check out Saturday Night Live as show characters try to save Broadway. Can you believe Neil Patrick Harris' impersonation of actor Anthony Rapp who originated the role of Mark in Rent that Harris later took over?
An awkward news story being pushed around about Kyle Mingoue's hot boyfriend posing nude reveals anxieties about the future of gay print media. Odd phrases such as "world's most renowned" or "leading gay mag" in the article almost equally touts the the wonder of OUT magazine as much as the nudie pics of Minogoue's boyfriend.
We wonder what the future of large-scale queer media will be as more and more of the public moves online. Is the recent merger of Regent Media with PlanetOut and Gay.com is good for gay people? Or will it reduce a diversity of viewpoints?
A hot new trend- cute things falling asleep is a website depicting cute animals and babies trying to sleep is intriguing millions. Will our video of Kevin Thomas sleeping be a hit?
American Idol Returns for another exciting seasons of freaks, geeks and shrieks. We can't wait. We're interested in to see how the new judge will n=mix with the other judges and contestants.
And a happy ending for a 140 year old lobster who is set free from a New York City restaurant. Did he become shark food or will he live a long happy life?

Bad cops, no donuts! That's one of Andy Thayer's favorite chants. Andy is a hard working longtime activist fighting for gay and lesbian rights with the Gay Liberation Network.
Andy is leading this weekend's demonstration against the Defense of Marriage Act. Will President Elect Obama repeal this awful measure?
President to be Obama seems to speak from both sides of his mouth about gay marriage and we wonder what are Obama's true feelings on marriage equality.
Listen as we talk with Andy about politics, Blajovichian tactics, the fear of addressing the Middle East conflict, the bad economy and whether we hold Obama to too high of a standard.
A hostile letter to gay bars in Seattle Washington threatening to poison their guests with ricin sounds like it was written by a cheesy batman super villain. Was the author Catwoman or a pissed off gay man? We think it may be a Catwoman wannabe so Fausto does his best Eartha to read the man's letter on today's show.
An Australian court uses gay prison rape as a threat to a young driver if he does not stop speeding "You'll find big, ugly, hairy strong men (in jail) who've got faces only a mother could love that will pay a lot of attention to you -- and your anatomy... you'll get to shower with the gorillas in the mist down at Long Bay jail."
Gu Gu the panda fights back. Gu Gu attacked a visitor who jumped the barrier to retrieve a toy dropped by his five year old son and bit the man's legs and refused to let go. The zookeeper had to pry his jaws open with tools to free the father. Just last year Gu Gu attacked a man who tried to give him a hug. The lesson here is simple, do not portend to mess with the panda.
And woes on snow, Austrian farmers are making money selling snow to German Ski Resorts. Even though Europe is as cold as hell right now, they aren't getting enough snow at some resorts so they have to actually import snow for their ski trails.

January is named after Janus, the Greek god of beginnings and endings. On today's show we take a look back at last year and look forward to what's to come.
Did we stop the hate in 2008? Will we take the time to be divine in 2009? Or can we just stop the whine in 2009? What's the line for 2009?
Hunky actor Chris Evans outs his hotter gayer brother in an interview in the Advocate. Chris says his gay brother is darker, taller and gets a lot of action. Question is, where is he?
Scott Baio is back "in charge" as host of "Confessions of a Teen Idol" a new reality tv show that examines former teen hunks such as Christopher Atkins, David Chokachi , and Adrian Zmed and helps them overcome their addiction to fame. The show claims that each hour-long episode will provide a rare, never-before-seen look at fame and its consequences as the guys live together and form a unique and exclusive support group.
But, we really just want to see how they've aged like our friends on Facebook.
Listen to today's show as we talk about drag shows in smalls towns, our trip through the Midwest and celebrating Christmas with friends, loved ones and big pitcher of sangria.
We have an interview with Amy Balliett, Co-Founder of Join the Impact, the LGBT political movement that quickly formed after the passage of Proposition 8 in California.
Amy tells us how the group came together to organize over 200 simultaneous actions all over the world, what the new generation of activism looks like and how the Internet and social networks are changing politics and activism. Plus, Amy quickly explains why Facebook is hot and MySpace is so not hot. (It has something to do with tables.)
We also bid a fond farewell to Eartha Kitt, the legendary actress and singer who died at the age of 81 on Christmas day. It seems like a fitting departure for a woman who was best known for her song Santa Baby. Goodbye Eartha.
Get your red on black Feast of Fools tshirt before they are all gone. We also rely on your donations to make this show happen. Thank you for your support.
