Good Bye Chicago
Over the last few months I have not been the same. I may come off as being fine but I haven't been. I have been fighting with depression and what to do with my life. I moved to Chicago five years ago to get away from my family and to pursue my life as a woman and not some boy struggling with his identity. Being from a small town, I never knew what it was like to be this city girl. So I packed what little I had in my car and moved to Chicago in November of 2003. It was hard for me to leave my family and move to a place I didn't know much about. But Chicago embraced me and loved me. I was able to spread my wings and grow up as a woman here. I was offered so many great gifts through this journey and that I can not replace. The friendships that I have made will be forever and this road to finding my true self will never be forgotten. Chicago will always be in my heart and I hope I can come back one day and say this is where it all started! Maybe even one day having a summer house here! I love it here! But the winters are getting rough on me and I am changing the older that I get. I want my music career to blossom and to be close to my family again. I also want to one day start a family and I think being close to my own will allow that! My partner and love of my life will be leaving what he knows to follow my dreams with me. I need this change in a real bad way, and I can only do that by being close to the people who raised me and love me. Plus being close to my music team to make Kennidi worldly known! Thank you so much!!!! I love you all!
To my dearest friends in drag: Jeff-Tina Torch, SAL-E, Roxie Star, Reina Valentino, Angelique Munro, Candi Stratton, Monique Marquette, Cyon Flare, Kevin- Teri Yaki, Robert- Vanity Fair, Mercedes, Aurora Sexton, Lady Vera Parker and there are more that I cant mention because my brain is going a hundred miles a minute! Thank you so much ladies for embracing me and allowing me to express my talent with all of you. To the Ladies who were also on Tranny Talk, you fucking rock and made it amazing!!! Thank you! I will love and cherish all of you!
To my fans that have become my great friends like JAMES! I love you! I will totally miss my gay husband. To Michael Perich, and my little fan base in Joliet thank you for having the love! TO everyone in Chicago gay scene who embraced me, Tranny Talk 101, and my music! I love you all!!!
As for Tranny Talk 101, it will continue, we are just moving it to the place where everything is bigger, TEXAS! I will bring a different kind of drag and trans woman to all my viewers! 2009 is about change, didn't our newly elected president say that? I think so!
So in conclusion, I will be leaving Chicago either by the end of the month or a week or so in February! Please if you are out and see me, lets hug and enjoy our time together!!! I will miss you all and lets drink to new beginnings!

BIG PARTY TONITE!!!
TRANNY TALK 101, the most popular and hottest transgendered podcast is
throwing a huge party in Chicago on December 19, 2008 from 7p-9p at
Mary's Attic. The event will be full of fabulous transgendered people!
Along with appearances by Candi Stratton, Tina Torch, SAL-E, and Cyon
Flare! This is our Season Finale Party so, playing on the screens
throughout the night will be Kennidi Monroe interviewing the most
famous transsexual: Amanda Lepore! This night is sure to be a blast,
along with drag performances, Kennidi will be giving away cd singles
from her upcoming dance album FOR, and there will be magic from Sean
Clark! There will be a five dollar donation at door!
The party doesn't have to end at 9p, everyone is more than welcome to
stay and party at Marys! Marys Attic is located above Hamburger Marys
Chicago, 5400 N. Clark in Andersonville!
