Back in the mix
After a very long hiatus, I am back in the mix. This time, however, I don't intend to be so "political." Just a little more observant.

A new blog
Hello everyone, it seems I've practically fallen off the face of the earth. But I'm still around and I've been busy. I've opted to continue this blog on another site that provides better blogging tools. I hope you all go to visit my blog at http://liberallibertarianlunacy.blogspot.com/ where I am writing about marriage, as well as keeping an eye on the anti-marriage crowd.
I've renamed this blog "The Occasional Gay," in which I will occasionally write about things that occasionally strike me as interesting.

Yay Connecticut!
I know it’s been a while since I’ve posted anything, but today the news is Grand indeed! The Connecticut Supreme Court has joined the ranks of the enlightened by ruling today that the state’s ban on same-sex marriage is unconstitutional and that the state’s legislation providing for domestic partnerships is insufficient!

Will McCain campaign trot this ruling out as a reason to salvage his foundering campaign? He can try, but ironically, I’m thankful that the economy has gone to hell because with that on everyone’s mind, anyone trying to re-ignite the culture war will be screaming at deaf ears.

Hillary got one thing wrong
Hillary made a brilliant speech tonight. But she got one thing very wrong. John McCain has not served his country "admirably" or "with honor." Being a P.O.W. grants no immunity. He cracked while a prisoner and revealed information that others took to their grave.

Maybe so......but for her to say he was weak and a coward makes her look worse than if she says he served admirably.
My favorite was when she said that she wasn't sure who was going to be in the twin cities cuz J.M and G Dub were turning into the same person! LIVED!
