Podcast with 'Sweeney Todd' cast
Stephen Sondheim's 'Sweeney Todd' is one of the greatest works of the 20th century and is enjoying renewed fame with the hit movie featuring Johnny Depp and the very creative new stage production by John Doyle, which opened on Broadway in 2006 and now is on tour across the country.
Two of the cast members of the Broadway production and now of the tour Lauren Molina (Johanna) and Diana DiMarzio (Beggar Woman) stop by ShowBiz Chicago and discuss their roles and the new take on the tale of 'Sweeney'in which the actors double as the orchestra.
Lauren and Diana also fill us in on their life outside of touring and their independent musical projects.
