Batteries Not Included - Starving Artist

I know this window display has been up for a while now, but life has been hectic lately.

"Starving Artist" is the newest window display by Lee Kay Graphics at Batteries Not Included (BNI) in Boystown.

According to Lee Kay, the inspiration for this display came from a tabloid cover a few years ago with the headline "Make Dolly Eat!"  He thought the headline (not the eating disorder) was hilarious and decided to use the idea in the BNI window for Market Days in 2008.  As Lee Kay described it, "it just all worked for a BNI 'country' kind of window, 'good clean barnyard fun' & all ... Even kids like milkin' cows!"

The original video from the Market Days 2008 window display can be viewed here. You can follow Lee Kay on Twitter or on his YouTube channel.
