Do you like our Hardware!?!
It has been two weeks since we moved in and we are slowly getting back into the groove of everyday living! This weekend was pretty mellow, except for the below freezing temperatures. The best thing about this weekend was that it was shovel-free. I am glad to report that my back was glad to take a break!
Saturday night we spent the evening with our great friends, Karen and Randy Patton, drinking Pattons and eating delectable food made by the culinary-diva Karen! Damn that was some good loin and squash!
Sunday, mom and my brother, Elvis, came over and we just hung out and watched movies while Mark was a busy bee putting up the new cabinet hardware. The kitchen looks amazing! I am so glad we chose the natural elegant leaf knobs, instead of the plain and bland brushed sterling silver knobs. Everyone loves a little sparkle here and there! Elvis put it best, when he said our kitchen now has some bling to it!
A bit gay, but what do you excpect! That’s how we roll here in Kenosha!
P.S. Karen was very adamant about how awesome and cool that new trike was. As they say, a picture says a thousand words, so I'll just leave it at that!
P.S.S. Karen, love you gurl. I wish I was as graceful as you on that trike. My ass cheek still hurts from flopping and turning that ride over. Cause you know I'm "thicker" these days!

Best Gym Ever!
After a week of looking for a gym to join, I was becoming a bit miffed and concerned, thinking that the local YMCA would be my best until our club house was finished.
Well, that was until we found the RecPlex and IcePlex located on the shore of Lake Andrea inside Prairie Springs Park in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin. With its private beach and combined square footage of over 260,000 sq ft, these two facilities create a family-oriented recreation destination offering four main activity areas: an aquatics center, fitness center, athletic fieldhouse and two NHL-sized ice rinks.
The best part, all this is cheaper than any gym I have ever joined! And its next to the Jelly Belly Factory!

I'll expect my invitation to come swimming in the mail soon. ;)
