Thanks!:
Thank you all for the support that you’ve shown ChicagoPride.com! Tonight we have the privilege of accepting the “Best LGBT Website” Award at the 9th Annual Chicago Free Press Best in Community Award Ceremony
Partner, Fusion Radio Chicago, the exclusive provider of ChicagoPride.com Pride Radio, received the "Best Internet Music Station" Award. ChicagoPride.com favorite, Miss Foozie walked away with the “Best Variety Show” Award! We sure live in a great community!
Home Town Boy Having Fun:
Be sure to upload Feast of Fun’s (Formally Feast of Fools) recent Pod Cast featuring Chicago’s favorite son, Ronnie Kroell. Knowing cute hosts, Fausto Fernós and Marc Felion, the show is full of innuendo, interrogation, and interesting facts! (Can you tell that I’m a fan?)
LifeLube.org:
Be sure to check out yours truly on LifeLube.org’s "How are you healthy?" the new, holistic gay and bisexual men's health social marketing campaign from Project CRYSP. The campaign invites gay and bisexual men to share their methods for staying healthy on the popular gay men's sexual health and wellness website and blog - LifeLube.org. New posts answering the question "How are you healthy?" are featured every week.
The campaign is running on the Chicago Transit Authority. It is also featured in, Gay Chicago, Chicago Free Press, Windy City Times, BOI Magazine, Nightspots, and in a host of banner ads on the internet, including ChicagoPride.com and the Feast of Fun. Now’s your chance to participate and tell others how you are healthy!
Happy Hump Day!!

GREAT job to all of those who join us on the 23rd at Roscoe’s for the charity performance raising funds for those that lost their home in the Scarlet building fire. A special thanks goes out to Roscoe’s Shawn Hazen for organizing and making the event happen. Frida Lay, Honey West, Miss Foozie, Maya Douglas, Victoria LePaige, Mercedes, Marilyn Black, Jade, Kelly Lauren, Naysha Lopez, Members of the Chicago Gay Men's Chorus, Teri Yaki, Ronnie Kroell and yours truly were all part of the fun performance! Diva, Amy Armstrong gave her usual comedic entertainment as she co-hosted with Shawn.
Thanks to all who have given over the last month to this community need. I am SO proud of how we came together to help. This has never been about a bar; but about people!
Our Hero, James!:
Sit for a moment and listen to Outright Vermont Youth & Board Representative James Neiley, 17, as he testifies before the Vermont Senate on marriage equality. What a brave kid! We can all learn a little something from him!

BRAVO Wild Pug:
Even the rain and wind couldn’t keep the die hard difference makers away from The Wild Pug last night. We all enjoyed libations and laughs as we raised funds for the victims of the Scarlet building fire.
Joining in the fun was none other than my dear pal, Ronnie Kroell. He came straight from a photo shoot to be a part of this community event. I was really touched. We were even blessed with the attendance of DJ Phil DaBeatz; and even got to hear his newest demo CD! As an added bonus we heard Ronnie’s two hit singles!
I have to say that the Wild Pug went above and beyond in the generosity and giving! Towards the end of the event they decided to add another hour of sales to the pot. I can’t thank them enough!
A special thank you goes to ChicagoPride.com and Fusion Radio Chicago, for their amazing promotion of the event and to all the folks that came! We were able to raise some needed funds!
If you weren’t able to attend, but would like to donate/help, please email me!
