Minibar MIGHTY DIFFERENCE!
Cheers Boystown!
I wanted to make sure all of you knew about Minibar|Winebar's 2nd Annual Smokig Hot Halloween event Saturday night!
Every person that comes in is being asked for a $2 cover. ALL of that will be going to the folks at the Chicago Fire Department.
To top it off, the M|W men will be dressed in the finest fire fighting attire. (Or lack there of!)
Why not make your early evening out and about meaningful! Stop by and support our Boystown Boys and the CFD!
Cheers Damnit!

Mayor Daley sings the praises of the community!
The City of Chicago Commission on Human Relations Advisory Council on Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Issues celebrated new inductees to the Chicago Gay and Lesbian Hall of Fame with an annual reception and ceremony that took place at The Chicago Cultural Center on October 18th.
With a great speech by Chicago Mayor Richard Daley, the Chicago Gay and Lesbian Hall of Fame celebrated its 17th year of being the only known government-sponsored gay and lesbian hall of fame.
Thirteen individuals and three organizations are being honored at this year’s event. They were:
David Blatt, MD & David Moore, MD (as a couple), Carol Moseley Braun, Robbin Burr (Former Executive Director of the Center on Halsted), Tarrina Dikes, Martin Gapshis, Jeffrey E. McCourt, Carlos T. Mock, MD, Chilli Pepper, Karen C. Sendziak, Patrick Sheahan, Harold Washington, Vera Washington, American Veterans for Equal Rights (Chicago Chapter), Chicago 2006, Inc. (Gay Games VII), and A Real Read.
Carol Moseley Braun and Harold Washington were inducted as Friends of the Community. A committee of prior inductees selected the 2007 Chicago Gay and Lesbian Hall of Fame inductees from nominations submitted by the public. These are truly inspiration people in our community who’ve made a great Difference!

Happy Day Freddy!
It's with great pleasure that I wish a very happy birthday to my friend Freddy Allen!
Many in Chicago and around the world know Freddy and his dynamic cabaret partner Amy Armstrong. They were some of my first friends here in Chicago!
I am a blessed guy to call Freddy my friend. He is loyal, sweet, and always ready to listen. With a glass of Grand Mariner in one hand and cola chaser in the other he always makes any occasion one of great memories and laughs.
Please join me tonight at Roscoe's (Halsted/Roscoe) at 9PM to celebrate Freddy!
