What am I thankful for? These two little shits...I love em'...make sure you give some love to whoever you're thankful for today.

Gay Bars-GB Style

Stuck in Green Bay, Wisconsin for a week and homesick for our beloved Chi-town, my slutface: Jim Wirch and I decided to tear this cheese town a new one. We even did a little grassroots promotion for me and ChicagoPride.com. You'd be surprised how many of those Green Bay farm boys are already die-hard CP fans. I think I just tapped into a new loyal fan base.

BUT sadly, I miss all my Chicago boys!...I'll be back Friday morn ya'll in time for Black Friday shoooping.

Farewell Gentry, Hello Scarlet

Another bar on Halsted gets a facelift. First Minibar rolls in with its bare-chested bartenders and boy toy following next thing you know, Cocktail gets a classed up makeover and a new cliental to match. I have yet to check out Boystown's newest dive turned hot spot, Scarlet, but it looks like they're taking a cue from Minibar/Cocktail secrets to success: hot interiors splashed with an even hotter staff...god bless em'.

Look at them boys!

ENOUGH with the twinkie bitch bars!!! We need to bring Manhole back!

Upscale decore . . . Doorman and Waitstaff in 'scarlet' red . . . re the photo in background, Boxers or Briefs?? I guess that's why Rock Hudson was called the "Rock." Check it out in person and the rest of the celebs photos which adorn the walls . . . Frank

I went on my maiden trip and found Scarlet much closer to Sidetracks with the staff. Nice mix, though I don't think anyone of them were old Manholers. Very nice space. Can't wait for warm weather to get that front door open.
