Best Church of God
CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD THE SHOW | SUBSCRIBE FOR FREE ON iTUNES
Tired of just having a one night stand with Jesus and he doesn't call you back? Well, maybe it's because you're not praying hard and long enough! There's no escaping God's massive love, so get ready to fill that cavernous hole inside you with fabulous music from the Best Church of God, the only church God goes to, ever!
The church's choir director Mike Descoteaux brought over two of his most dedicated parishioners, sister Lindsay Goldapp and brother Scott Levy to help us find the true meaning of the Bible and boost our self-esteem with the knowledge that, thankfully, not everybody will go to Heaven.
A comedy group 6,000 years in the making, the Best Church of God is relocating to Donnie's Sky Box, a fabulous comedy venue located deep inside the Second City Compound, where all comedy firearms are licensed by God and the only deaths are from laughter. We just wonder how many Xenu points you have to accumulate before you reach the top of the Tina Fey pyramid.
Plus hot news:
An Israeli man is sent to prison for 10 years for tricking women into having sex with him by saying his semen was holy and had healing powers.
A Muslim American journalist speaks out against the radical website "Revolution Muslim" that directed veiled threats against the creators of the TV show South Park for depicting Mohamed in a recent episode.
Janice Dickinson attacks pop star Mick Jagger, saying she couldn't get no satisfaction from the modest size of his manhood.
And congratulations again Israel, the iPad is now approved for sale in the Holy Land, after weeks of banning the tablet computer over concerns its wireless signal could disrupt other devices and block signals from heaven.

What Turns You On
CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD THE SHOW | SUBSCRIBE FOR FREE ON iTUNES
Sexual desire is a powerful thing. It shapes us in ways we may not even be aware. Many psychologists agree that it is the core of who we are as people. What turns you on is all about your hopes and dreams so it's worth reflecting on and making art about it.
Today teacher, comedian and bondage babe Miss Tamale Sepp joins to talk about her recently finished MFA thesis, "Bound and Determined," an installation of self-help books beautifully tied up with red ropes in Japanese bondage style and a performance piece where she reenacts a day in the life of a sadomasochistic high school teacher.
Listen as we talk with Tamale about how the torturous qualities of schools may actually benefit us and ancient forms of Asian erotic role play.
Hot News:
Chinese Pop Star Zhou Youping charged with the murder of six men in S&M sex games.
American Muslim bloggers threaten South Park and the Simpsons respond.
Whitney Houston croaks her way across Europe, struggling to sing her greatest hit "I Will Always Love You." Can't Whitney just get the Taiwanese Susan Boyle Lin Yu Chun to sing her songs for her?
Pam Grier tells all about how Richard Pryor poisoned her pussy.
GLADD gets mad again, the Washington Blade gets a second life and firefighters rescue an adorable little puppy trapped in a reclining chair.

Fudgie the Whale
CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD THE SHOW | SUBSCRIBE FOR FREE ON iTUNES
"Is chocolate the meaning of life?" thought the fudge whale as he swam deeper and deeper into the chocolaty sea. Little did Fudgie know, that this would be his last journey into the rich, dark brown abyss.
Puppeteer and performance artist Marsian De Lellis is fascinated with creating stories in which childhood icons meet a tragic end. On the weekend of May 7- Marisan will perform "Fudgie's Death" an excerpt from "Growing Up Linda" a puppet play based on his fictitious take on the Carvel Ice Cream family.
You may recall Marsian's insightful take on the Lady Gaga and Grace Jones debate, or you may remember his earlier appearance this year when he introduced his other work "The Bride of Wildenstein" about the odd looking plastic surgery addict and New York City socialite, Jocelyn Wildenstein.
In that show we made our predictions for 2010, and eerily enough, most of them have come true already. Celebrities wanting to be un-retouched on magazine covers, Apple's iPad seen as a source of revenue for print publishing companies and Susan Boiling, the act of comparing any homely viral video star to the British reality TV singing sensation.
Listen as we reflect with Marsian on his attraction to searching for the deeper meaning in those sweet deserts and relish in the fascinating fetish of masking to be the lady you want to be.
Hot news:
Police catch a white male bank robber who remarkably disguised himself as a black man.
A guerrilla gardener in London does drive by decorating of potholes.
And Leonard Nemoy, the actor who plays Spock in the movie and TV series Star Trek, pays a visit to the town of Vulcan in Alberta, Canada.

Chicago Tribune: “the Oprah of gay podcasting”
We were delighted to be compared by blogger and Feast of Fun power fan Rick Aiello as "the Oprah of gay podcasting" in Rex W. Huppke's story on us and how Feast of Fun is one of the web's top gay-themed talk shows.

70,000 people a week listen to ‘Feast of Fun,’ recorded from their apartment’s breakfast nook
By Rex W. Huppke, Tribune reporter | April 25, 2010
Fausto Fernos and Marc Felion spend hours each day in the breakfast nook of their North Side apartment, chatting behind microphones, laughing and crafting a daily, hourlong podcast that goes out to tens of thousands of listeners across the country and around the world.
"Feast of Fun," which the couple launched in rudimentary form in 2005, has grown into one of the Web's most popular gay-themed talk shows. It has also provided Fernos and Felion with full-time jobs and a certain acclaim for helping pioneer the now-booming field of Internet broadcasting.
"They were very early into this," said Todd Cochrane, the founder and CEO of RawVoice, a Hawaii-based new media company that helps podcasters distribute and monetize their work. "What's unique with them is they kind of helped lead the way into the (lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender) space. Their show has really evolved, and they now have a huge and very loyal fan base."
Podcasting in general has exploded in popularity — a 2009 study by Edison Research found the number of Americans who have listened to podcasts has doubled to 22 percent since 2006. But for people in minority communities who don't always see a reflection of themselves in mainstream media programs, this new medium has become particularly attractive.

Howard Brown CEO Resigns and CFO Is on Leave
CEO and CFO of Howard Brown Heath Center, one of the nation's largest LGBT healthcare organizations, were both put on leave from their jobs and the CEO Cook later resigned.
The haven't really said what all the fuss is about but this guy who worked there 25 years ago seems to think he may know what's up- that they were put on leave for transferring a grant, which can sometimes be incredibly large sums of money, to Northwestern University. Read about that here in "An Open Letter to the Board and Supporters of the Howard Brown Health Center," and FYI, a "PI" is "The Principal Investigator," the person who is chiefly responsible for carrying out the operations of a grant.
The Ceo Cook resigned and WCT reports that "He cited internal disagreements about ongoing responsibilities and duties" but never with a direct quote, rather, he cites "personal family matters" as the reason for leaving. So what's up, is it personal or professional?
Chicagoist wants to know What's Going On At Howard Brown?
Also, they don't even have a twitter account.
