Rub-a-dub dub, three homos in a pumpkin boat!
A Wisconsin resident is making news for carving a boat out of a giant pumpkin! How cute is that? Will eco-friendly pumpkin boats become the must-have lesbian wedding item instead of a horse drawn carriage?
On today's show the hilarious and charming Cameron Esposito is in the house, yall!
Cameron loves to collect all her random thoughts into a little black book and then later reinterpret them into her stand-up routine. She also is the kind of person who writes little codes on her hand to remind herself to do mundane tasks, like go to the bank or wash the car.
Cameron is such delightfully quirky and very very funny gal.
Her birthday is coming up this weekend and we are wondering how the always over the top, Cameron is going to celebrate it with her girlfriends? Check her out at the Lincoln Lodge on Thursday and Fridays in Chicago and this Monday at Bingo Night at Hamburger Mary's.
Listen to today's podcast as we talk with Cameron about:
The upcoming U.S. Election. Have you checked this weeks cover of Newsweek? Sarah "Mooseburger" Palin is on the cover of news magazine with her, pores, mustache and wrinkles intact. Supporters of the fundamentalist candidate say the magazine paints her in a unflattering light by not painting away her unflattering flaws like the supposedly do with every other political candidate.
They are soaking in a big tub of irony here. Many of these pundits who are screaming bloody murder are the types of people who criticize magazines for retouching the images in the first place, only this time they are complaining for not doing so.
I've personally worked in publishing for almost a decade, and there is NEVER an image that runs on any cover of any print publication that hasn't been enhanced somehow. They retouched the "unretouched" photo, just not as much.
And so what? Why is this even news? With a tanking economy, mortgage crisis, no health care and marriage equality under fire in California, the Republicans would rather have us focus on superficial things like this woman's skin.
One thing all these Republican guys (and gals) are waiting for is Nailing Paylin, the new adult video recreating the tyrant of the tundra as a sex-loving slut. I just wish they would have had her REALLY look like Sarah Palin instead of some Gina Gershon look-a-like in a woman's business suit.
Kenyan Rangers are now outfitting angry smashing elephants with devices that send text messages to villagers when it's nearby. Texting elephants, what's next?
Did Hello Kitty die for your sins? Sanrio Co. Ltd., the Japanese company that makes a fortune selling merchandise to mostly teenage girls is now coming after the religious market. The Pagan Prattle blog has noticed that the company's website now carries rosaries and yarmulkes adorned by the iconic, big headed, mouthless cartoon cat. In Japan, nobody can hear you scream.
Clara Meadmore, the 105 year old virgin. Her secret to a long life? No sex and no TV. She sounds like a blast to hang out with. Still she may have something there. There are days when I think my husband is taking years off my life.
Find out how you too can become a virtual eunuch in China.
YouTube tiny favorite La Pequeña is back with her new video "La Pequeña Hillary Hulk." As funny as this is, I'm hoping for a "La Pequeña Sarah Palin" video before November 4.

Raise the roof y'all! Levi Kreis is in the house and there's a whole lotta shaking going on.
Forgive my corny pun, but the dazzling singer and piano rocker is in Chicago at the Goodman theater co-starring in the new musical "Million Dollar Quartet" about the legendary Sun records jam session that took place on December 4, 1956, when four of popular music’s most extraordinary talents (Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins and Elvis Presley) all in their creative prime, came together for a night of music that would help lay the foundation for rock and roll.
Levi Kreis embodies the rebellious musician Jerry Lee Lewis in the show, wowing audiences both with his on and off piano acrobatics both and the power of his raw, passionate voice.
In many ways Levi carries the essence of the musical legend both in his rejection of his Baptist conservative upbringing but still embracing it's musical roots. Levi Kreis was expelled from his Baptist University for questioning the Bible's take on homosexuality and Jerry Lee Lewis also challenged the moral code of his day.
Click here to get tickets to see "Million Dollar Quartet."
When we last talked to Levi, he was on tour across the country with his new album "The Gospel According to Levi" and shared with us a frank look at his life and his relationships.
You're in for a treat today! Levi super-soaks us with his music and his voice, performing live in the home studio his hits and songs from his upcoming album "Where I Belong" scheduled to be released in January 2009.
Levi is one of those rare musicians who's sassy personality equally matches his mastery of the piano and the power of his music is delivered by his showmanship.
Having people like Levi on the show is what keeps me personally going. He's such a dazzling musician, charming personality and a whole lot of fun. We wish the show didn't have to end, and neither will you.
Levi is also giving away a free song from his upcoming album to all the subscribers of the Feast Blast- click here to subscribe.
Levi shares with us every delicious morsel of music that he has in his body, as he spends over an hour chatting with us about his unusual career and how he reconciles his religious upbringing.
