Just got the police report-
She is being charged with two counts of theft by deception. She allegedly collected money from one person for $780 and $324 from another and gave them keys to apartments that didn't exist or weren't available.
The police report states that this is not the first time she was arrested.
The report made no mention of a stolen U Haul truck.

Drag queen Lady Vera Parker moved to Chicago with the hopes of making it big as an entertainer. Last week, her dreams were dashed when she was pulled over in U-Haul truck she allegedly stole in Kentucky. When the police pulled up her record they found a laundry list of check fraud and deception warrants. She's now being held in Cook County Prison awaiting trial.
What happened? On today's show we're talking to Kevin Pipkins, best known as Chicago drag queen Teri Yaki.
Kevin's worked with the now infamous Lady Vera Parker and is here to explain in detail, what, to the best of his knowledge, happened and what the future holds for this John Waters villain come to life.
Adding to her growing list of atrocities, Lady Vera Parker was also spotted on a "jungle" themed gay pride parade float wearing silver pumps. What kind of self-respecting drag queen would be caught wearing those?

Also, a lot of drag queens have been suspicion of the Lady for years and feel validated by this.
But, yes, it is sad for Vera and her family.
Trust me when I say, I'm not the only person enjoying this. While it is a sad situation, it just proves everything I had been saying all along. She was a liar, a manipulator, etc. etc. And its sad that some people are STILL choosing to defend her, when in all actuality, nobody should be.
Whether Mr. Flanagan has wronged you or not, it says more about your weakness and lack that you’re happy to see another person go through what is probably hell.
Like us all, he deserves our compassion, care, and help. Clearly he’s a person that’s hurting and we as his community should reach out to him and lend a hand!
What a fucked up community we live in when we take our PRIDE in someone else’s PAIN. Karma or not, it says a lot about us.

Maybe one of her defenders on Chicagopride would like to defend her in court. I mean they do SUCH a good job convincing me that she deserves my sympathy!
Lady Vera Parker should be held responsible if in fact she is found guilty for the charges. No one can dispute that.
It is also clear that this Monique person is an equally vicious "villain" in her own right; making the most out of this whole escapade to get her/his name into the blogosphere.
I don't think she should hold her breath on getting an apology from people, but rather, should hope that Ms. Parker never gets out of jail.
