Pete Wentz supports gay marriage
Following the lead of Brad Pitt and Steven Spielberg, Chicago's Pete Wentz has contributed money to fight the anti-gay Prop 8 and keep same sex marriage legal in California.
TMZ.com reports the Fall Out Boy was spotted at a No on Prop 8 fundraiser in Hollywood on Sunday. Scrubs" star Sarah Chalke and members of Linkin Park were also reportedly on hand.
Pitt and Spielberg have reported contributed $100K a piece to stop the anti-gay ballot initiative. No word on Wentz's contribution.
The gay-friendly rocker is also expressing his feelings about Prop 8. "There are alot of causes out there- alot of 'good' fights to be fought. i think proposition 8 is pretty lame- as many others do too. its fucking lame," Wentz posted on his blog.

McCain: SNL's Palin Sexist
Did you see Tina Fey’s hilarious impersonation of Governor Sarah Palin on “Saturday Night Live? this weekend?
It was SNL's highest rated season premiere since 2002, but while America tuned in the McCain campaign wasn't laughing.
McCain's camp calls the television comedy skit "disrepectful in the extreme" and "sexist."
Palin, on the other hand, found the sketch "amusing" according to her spokesperson. Palin and the press corps watched the sketch in the back of her plane, laughing!
Even the conservative Fox News Channel commentators found the impersonation funny. (see clip below)
When is The McCain campaign going to learn to laugh and stop blaming the media for everything?
