Latina Divina

Well, the world had a great loss this weekend with the sudden death of Drag Entertainer Ms Latina Davina (Jose Robles). To me, Latina Davina was a great person both in and out of drag; she was a loving friend. It’s sad to think that the part of the world that didn’t know Latina has forever missed their chance. Right now I’m sad. I’m sad for those in our community that didn’t know Latina and will never get to know Jose. Through life we are taught to search for the good in these situations and come to terms with the loss of someone we love. Surely, however you knew Jose or Latina, he will be missed but will forever remain in our hearts.

Wake: Wednesday, January 21st Casey Laskowski & Sons Funeral Home
4540 West Diversey Chicago, IL 60639 3:00pm - 9:00pm
Funeral: Thursday, January 22nd Graceland Cemetery 4001 N. Clark Street Chicago , IL 60613
If you are interested in driving with us to the Church in a procession, please meet us at the Funeral Home at 9am. We will proceed to St. Mary of the Angels Church located at 1850 N. Hermitage Ave. Chicago , IL 60622. Mass will begin at 11am. Once the mass is complete, we will then proceed to the Cemetery.
