Yes, that was Lance Bass
ChicagoPride.com and our Bill Pritchard were excited to have hosted Lance Bass last night in Chicago. Lance was in town to promote his tell-all autobiography during a book signing at Borders in Lakeview. (read more about the book in the post below)
CP winning members Andrew and Ernie got to meet Lance before the book signing thanks to an exclusive contest from ChicagoPride.com and Borders!
After the book signing, Minibar owners Stu and John hosted Lance VIP at Minibar. Lance's possible visit was mentioned in yesterday's Boystown Now blog posting. (this blog is connected)
Lance greeted Chicago's own Miss Foozie with a "Hello Pineapple" at Minibar.
Watch for blog postings from Bill Pritchard and Miss Foozie. Check out the photos in the CP photo gallery. Thanks to Jay Shaff for the snapping the photos!

Lance Bass in Chicago
Former 'N Sync-er Lance Bass hits the Windy City tonight for a book signing at Borders in Lakeview (2817 N. Clark) beginning at 7:30pm.
Lance tells all about his life, his music, and his sexuality in this candid, compelling autobiography, Out of Sync.
As part of the book tour, Bass has been doing plenty of press. In the November issue of GQ, the 28-year-old says his outing occurred shortly after Spears married childhood friend Jason Allen Alexander in January 2004.
"I felt bad for her," Bass says in the interview. "I knew she was about to go through a lot of crap. I felt the need to share something. So I sat her on my bed, and I'm like, Well, I'm gay!"
On Britney, Bass tells the magazine "I don't think she's having any of her old friends anymore."
Bass tells GQ he and his former bandmates used to think Timberlake was gay. "We thought Justin [Timberlake] was gay," Bass says, "because he told us he wanted to do a gay part in a movie."
There is plenty more in Bass' autobiography Out of Sync.
Join ChicagoPride.com's Bill Pritchard as he hosts two CP members during Lance's book signing tonight at Borders.
Afterwards, we hear Lance might visit a mini bar in Boystown.
