RIP Cole Ryder

I was FLOORED when I was browsing through my MySpace bulletins this afternoon and came across one with the subject line of "RIP Cole Ryder". I thought it was a joke at first, but started googling and found out it was unfortunately true. He died last night in his sleep. The cause of death is still unknown.

For those of you who don't know who he was, Colde Ryder was a PHENOMENAL gay porn star starring in one of my favorite movies of all time, Link: The Evolution. And he was a SWEET guy. I befriended him on MySpace a couple months ago and we chatted back and forth for awhile. He even told me his real name.

It was true what he stated on his MySpace page: "Just a nice guy that happens to be a porn star"

Oh Phil!

Seems as if Phil DaBeatz is the man to know this month! So I thought I would join in on the love. Here is a photo I took of him at Minibar a few weeks ago. Isn't he dreamy? Can you say Colgate Model?

Cookin' Queens!

So I just picked up my copy of Cooking Doesn't Have To Be A Drag and it is SENSATIONAL and HILARIOUS! It features some great recipes, plus off-beat banter and notes from all the queens.

Chicago's very own Frida Lay, Teri Yaki and Mercedes are featured throughout the book. And yours truly shot their photos, plus the author's.

As of right this second I'm putting away money to save for the hard cover copy! LOVE IT! The "peek inside" looks like I'd definatly get use out of it plus it's gorgeous!

Holy Barbra!!

I was going through some photos from The Miss Dunes Resort pagaent and came upon some photos of one of the performers, Dalylah Desmond. Boy oh boy, did this girl do an AMAZING Barbra Streisand and Celine Dion. I simply HAD to edit some of her photos. Phenomenal, huh?
