Chace Crawford in Footloose?
Spotted:
Can you believe they’ve cast Gossip Girl star Chace Crawford, as Ren McCormack in the new Footloose directed by Kenny Ortega?

Sure he’s damn fine, (Note: I wouldn’t kick him off the couch for eating crackers!) but can the guy really dance?

What do you think?

Cheers!!

Full of Pride
It’s Over:
I have to be honest I’m glad that the Pride festivities are over! I know for most it’s a lot of fun, but there are some of us that look at it like a lot of work. (Although its well worth it to see the world converge on Boystown!)

ChicagoPride.com had one fun Booth at the Northalsted Pride Fest this year! Thanks to CP’s Executive Vice President and Editor in Chief, Steve Long and all his hard work, the booth ran like clock work. CP’s Brand Manager Mike Livingston set up some AMAZING volunteers, including, Kinley, Jason, Dave Tripper, Brian Plummer, Frank, Samantha, Frank Failing, Brendan-John, Anthony, Ryan K., and the boys from Feast of Fun, Marc & Fausto.

ChicagoPride.com’s own DJ Phil DaBeatz joined Steve Long, CP’s President, Matthew Inawat and I Saturday night at the booth. It was pure music heaven!

Thanks!:
There are a few people that I want to thank for making my weekend work! First and foremost, my partner in crime Steve Long busted his buns to make things run SO smoothly! My best friend Isaiah went out of his way to make our weekly breakfast date happen. (Albeit damn early!) My pal and physical therapist Travis Ahlquist of Aszend Massage Therapy and Personal Training truly was a blessing after a long week on my feet!

A big THANK YOU goes to Allan Spiers, Jeff Cullen, Jeff Conway, Andy Ralovski, Ryan Cox, Anthony Fett, Tim Fett and Will Blake for agreeing to be on the KISS FM float with me. Although things didn’t work out completely as we planed, I was really touched that all of these hot guys agreed to participate!

Finally, a thank you goes to Drex, Mel-T, Nicole, and Paul at KISS FM for inviting me on the air Friday morning. It’s a tradition that I enjoy every year. (You’re a damn mess Drex!)

Michael Jackson has died
Sadly, the King of Pop, Michael Jackson has passed away

He was taken to a hospital today after suffering cardiac arrest, according to multiple reports including the CNN, Chicago's CBS2, Los Angeles Times and AP.

I am SO sad for the loss that the world has suffered. He was a musical genius and will be sadly missed!

I was honored in 2001 to have the chance to meet him in New York for his tribute show. He was very kind and made me feel as if I were the only one he wanted to talk with. I believe he made everyone feel that way.
