Club Whore and a Cake
Surprisingly I am getting back into that stage of coming out and going out so much. My social life, ever since I turned single has sky rocketed all the way to the ceiling....I could barely catch up. Is that so bad?
Friday night I tagged along with Melissa and two of her friend for a "Girls Night Out" at Krem. I, at heart, am a girl so I was allowed. The best part though was all these straight boys were probably looking at me, pissed, that I had 3 girls grinding on my crotch when they had none. Helllz Yeahh!
The next night was at Durty Nellies...I'm not sure if I should take offense to that name. But it was my friend's birthday celebration and it was in Palatine...something different. Change it up a bit. But boy am have I paid my dues to straight venues...I'm starting to forget I'm gay!...LOL
I had to do something gay that night...so by 12AM I was at Sidetrack. Boys boys boys and more boys I have not seen in my life. I felt nostalgic though how I once frequent this venue along with the other gay bars...but now I felt no excitement about it. Boys, standing around, drinking, watching, being gay...nothing's new about it. I forgot how difficult and how it's almost impossible to meet people there....like For Real!!! I don't mean hook ups....Like For Real!!! But I saw a lot of my friends and some co-workers so that was the distraction of the night.
PURPLE CAKE:
Have you tasted a Filipino Purple Cake? It's actually made of purple yam so the color purple is actually the fruit/vegetable color. So yummy and creamy. The best part of a Filipino cake is the icing....nothing like it. Try it? Beware for those calorie conscious.

Guerilla Gay Bar: Villians
I attended my first Guerilla Gay Bar event last night at Villians - a straight bar in the South Loop. It was jam-packed and an estimated of 300 people were suppose to attend the event. Basically this is how the event works. A straight bar is picked and gays attend. I hope the bars' staff are at least informed of the gathering so they could schedule their workers for that night. Last night, at Villians, there were so many people I was not sure if the staff was able to handle it. I was told that it never really usually get that busy there. But the funniest thing about this is that every straight person, especially males, must have been wondering why their beloved bar all of the sudden had countless gays there. I know I would be so shocked if Roscoe's all of a sudden had a quasi "straight night".
The bar had TVs all over and some are playing sports. Some, however, are playing this Foxy Brown-ish kinda movie. I'm not sure. But I know for sure there were a lot of breasts out in the film. Matt's all straight-acting for laughs but even he could not hide his true self when he first noticed the breasts in shock and screamed "OHHHH!" (in disgust). Then he caught himself so he yelled. "I mean, YEAHHHH!" I burst out in laughter! Oh, Good times!!!
I'd love to check it out once more next month!!!

Chicago Takes (it) Off: And I did too
3 Bears dancing to Beyonce's Single Ladies
Chicago Takes Off’s 2009 theme this year was Fairy Tales and the performances were based from all sorts of fairy tales we’ve known since childhood. And the number I performed in was Alice in Wonderland. I played the little Dormouse form the tea party.
CTO is a huge event that supports the TPAN (Test Positive Awareness Network) organization and this year I think was the 3rd year so far. I was amazed how many volunteers got involved with this great cause and how much we’ve committed to it. It’s refreshing to see and work with so many people who were mainly there to make a difference.
There were some familiar faces in the crowd of dancers. I didn’t know any of them and I was too shy to approach and chat with people. The great dancers though were intimidating…they’re too good. Some of them I believe do it professionally. I don’t...I’m just an extra tagging along. And the good looking ones…it was interesting enough to see some much skin…hahah. Seriously, there was practically no shame in the dressing rooms. But who cares anyway? It’s not like we all haven’t seen everything.
But can you imagine? Professional dancers are dancing for free. Guys are stripping down at no cost. That’s props mann, especially when one of the stars, Frenchie Kiss, performed the tassels. Yeah, you know what I mean. Coco Peru was the MC and I love her to death. She was kind of fierce though so I was a bit scared of her. Some pole dancers did an amazing number of strip-teasing and some action but I never remember my mom reading me that story. But boy that was the most amazing, erotic, girl-on-girl action I have ever seen. I don’t think I can ever do it hanging up on a pole. They sure can! So I must say, the experience is a satisfying and a liberating one. I would definitely do it again in a heartbeat!
Dorothy from OZ on the left and Peter Pan and Captain Hook on the right
7 [sexy] Drawfs on the left and Miss Coco Peru on the right
Some of the numbers were:
The wolf & 3 little (and very dirty) pigs - awesome number!
Pinnochio
Aladdin
Prince/TAFKAP (he's gay..not a fictional character!)
A hula hoops strip tease
A magician who did not strip
So in the Alice in Wonderland number I performed in, I had to wear this space man kinda short shorts as my costume which, to be honest, does not really fit the whole Dormouse kinda look. But I suppose the creative director for our number wanted things to be flashy. But the short shorts were one of those kinds I hated so much. Like Go Softwear or N2N Bodywear, the short shorts were tailored at the front part to show a big round bulge. And for someone who does not have a big bulge I never felt so inadequate…LOL. But being the way I am, I “made it work!” I got a 2xist string thong that also works just like a c-cup underwear and what that does is it pushes the package up and forward (Yes, I know! I must have been a go go boy/stripper in my previous life). And to minimize the silhouette and hide the direction of where the snake is going, you’d have to put a couple of tissues on the sides. Seriously, even if you are packin, with those types of tailored underwear you would have to roll it up in a ball for it to fit nicely. As for the back side…I didn’t really have any problems filling that up. Was that too much detail? LMAO.
The show ended with a bang and a number with the Prince finding Cinderfella. That is so Proposition 8!
Guess who I met there too? I met one of the hot models from FAT Saturday (The AIDSCare Ball…see previous blog) Nice guy with washboard abs and a great dancer. He came up and introduced himself and I smiled numerously. Lame! I always get like that when a hot guy talks to me. The things left missing were a ridiculously loud chuckle and a snort and I would have been set.
The night ended and already I was nostalgic. It was a magical one and we all lived happily ever after.
