Pride is coming!

That one day of pride is coming...since throughout the rest of the year we're in shame.....lol.

No...I'm psyched about this weekend since I will be in the parade again dancing...it's so fun! I just hope no one falls off the floats this time and it doesn't rain. Midsommarfest almost sucked because of rain. And since Pridefest is for two days, there's definitely going to be a lot of activity in the area...I like activities.

Today was my first this year at Hollywood Beach...and boy am I brown now! But it was nice to be in a beautiful setting as the lakefront...plus there was a lot to look at.

This whole being 28 thing is starting to kick in finally....I feel like I have to start planning for something...like what? Old Age? Aren't 401ks, life insurances, and savings enough? I dunno...

I was crazy on the night of my birthday celebration. There's was a time at Minibar when a friend of mine convinced one of the bartender to take a photo with me. So I went behind the bar, took the photo, and started to walk out. As I tried to get out from behind the bar I ran into some wine glasses....I'm sorry!

Almost thirty, flirty, and thriving!!!

Midsommarfest

It was a success. After a wet morning on Saturday, I almost felt like it's never going to happen. The Saturday morning performance was cancelled but we've managed to make it up by doing two performances today at 1:30pm and 3:30 pm. Did you see us?

What I love about CSB is that everyone in that organization is mainly there for one reason....to help out. It is very nice to see and know that there are a lot of people out there who are more than willing to make a difference by using every spare time they have to support others. I am honored to be part of the group.

Of course, along the way we enjoy ourselves with the thrills and joy that performing bring us. Whether that may be through Cheer, Dance, or Drill, the opportunity to share the best of our talents means the world to us. I know I am glad to use my talents for such a good cause. Ultimately, the experience is priceless. CSB is like a family to me.

Andersonville Midsommarfest

Next weekend is Midsommarfest and I would like to urge everyone to attend the event and support the Chicago Spirit Brigade. CSB will be performing to raise and accept donations for the Susan Komen Cancer Foundation. It will also be the premiere of the newly formed dance and drill group within CSB because in the past it has only been Cheer.

I will be with CSB dance team so if you'd like to see me strut and shake my booty then please attend!!!

Catch Up

It's Britney biatch!...I mean A-ray.

It's been a while since I blogged. I got so busy with all my summer activities especially with the Chicago Spirit Brigade. And today is my B-Day Celebration and I'm going to have Korean.....food, that is.

We performed at The Ride for AIDS this morning in Evanston and we were there at 6 am this morning. I had a lot of fun and it's so nice to see so many people in spandex shorts...mmm..mmmm.

I can't wait to perform at the MIdsommarfest in Andersonville next week. It'll be the premiere of the dance team's routine....and the drill also. GO CSB!

Chicago

I never really get to appreciate Chicago much for the years that I have been here. More and more I find this city so much more beautiful than ever. Sometimes I just have to stop and look around me.

I like to walk around the city aimlessly with no direction whatsoever. It's always so nice to be in places I have never been even when it is just somewhere within the city. My senses feel much more alive and I have this sense of freedom. It's an amazing feeling.
